Colitis
Several factors need to be addressed when reversing colitis symptoms: foods, supplements, and stress.
Foods
The colitis diet involves eliminating the following foods from your diet:
wheat,
rye,
corn,
milk,
peanuts,
whole nuts and seeds (eat only ground ones such as almond butter),
oranges,
grapefruit, and
refined white sugar.
Other food instructions:
Eat melons only if you have an empty stomach (first thing in the morning, for example).
Limit the consumption of, or eliminate, pork, beef, and lamb.
Stress
Find an activity that is relaxing for you such as taking a 20 minute Epsom salt bath daily or meditating 15 minutes twice daily.
